(no subject)

Did a little more tinkering with my page here today. I like how it's looking! But I wish I had better skills. Maybe I'll try my hand at something this weekend.

First day of New Employee Orientation was today, which is funny considering I've been at my job for 9 months. But it was great! Breaks frequently, and we even got out early! So much better than being at work site, there are just no words. A bunch of stuff was covered, including a huge segment on my benefits, most of which I already knew. But it was nice to find out some of the things I'd been too brain dead to retain when I saw my benefits guy back in August.

The highlight was seeing Jonathan, a former co-worker who got a job in Oakland but was hanging around the conference center. Said he was in town to take a final. Was nice to see him, though it was just for a couple minutes.

It was funny, because when I first saw him, he was running at some distance away from me, and I almost texted Stephanie telling her I'd just seen her guy, but it couldn't have been him because he was working in Oakland. And then it turned out it was him. xD

Have to prepare for the interview tomorrow. Need to dig out my typing cert, and maybe photocopy my last evaluation at work. Will probably call my Aunt, because I didn't talk to her this weekend.

Am already nervous, and I still have at least 12 hours to go before it happens. *sigh*
